This 1998 Bentley Continental T is finished in Blue Sequin Mica over a Sandstone and blue interior. The Continental
T was launched in 1996 as a more sporting variant of the Continental R and featured a shortened wheelbase, flared
wheel arches, and additional power from its turbocharged 6.75L V8. Work performed since 2013 included refinishing
the interior wood, recovering the dash, a new radiator, and new front brakes.
The car is finished in Blue Sequin Mica and is equipped with chrome 18″ factory alloy wheels. Paintwork under
previous ownership included repaints of the right-rear quarter panel and lower front valance. Imperfections shown
in the gallery include chips on the front bumper, grille, a scratch on the trunk lid, and three extremely small
dings on the door which i mention for full disclosure. They are almost indistinguishable.
The interior features sandstone leather upholstery with Alcantara bolsters and blue carpets. Work performed during
previous ownership included repairs to the driver’s seat memory controls, recovering the dash, and installing a
white LED in the center console boost gauge. RSE cars included color-keyed sill finishing strips, an electric rear
window blind, and burl wood trim, the latter of which was refinished during previous ownership.
The factory stereo has been replaced with a Pioneer receiver with a separate amplifier. The installation includes
an iPod/iPhone dock, a USB plug, and Bluetooth integration. The air conditioning system was reportedly serviced in
2017 with an upgraded evaporator and rebuilt compressor. Just under 35k miles are shown on the digital odometer,
1, 400 of which were added by myself.
The turbocharged 6.75-liter V8 sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. The
powerplant was rated at 420 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque for 1998. The oil and transmission pans were
reportedly resealed and the oil changed prior to my acquisition.
